Abstract
The second Edition of Hints on legal practice is a further revision of a series of lectures which the author delivered to students at the Nigerian law school over a period of about twenty years. Beginning in 1974. Propelled by the overwhelming enthusiasm with which the first edition, like the lectures that give rise to it, was receive by legal profession, the author analyses once more, with a hot of humor,. What may be described as the unwritten codes of advocacy?
Two new chapter have been added in the edition to give a more detailed treatment of “Re-examination” and “Closing, Speeches” respectively The style remains light and the language simple an approach which will doubtless appeal to the law student, the qualified lawyer and the layman alike.
