Abstract
The Book- this Tree Must Not Wither” was primarily written to educate the public about the military profession, factors that can be make or mar their operations and why we have no option but to rally around them. Military anywhere in the world has the constitutional mandate of defending the sovereignty of a nation state as fighters and to periodically come in aid to civil authority if ordered to do so. Military is described as the strength and the pride of a Nation. For the military to remain powerful so the nation can be proud of it and go to bed with their eyes closed, a lot of questions must be answered. When where, and how are we equipping our military? How do we react to logistics and general motivation especially if in the theatre of war? As an individual, how much support have you given or you are giving to the military in their fight against the insurgents? Are your utterances in favour or against their performance? What do we stand to lose or gain for supporting our military? What will happen if our military fail to perform? All these questions and several others, is what this book has fixed. Ignorance is expensive.
