Insurgency - Nigeria
Abstract
Over recent years. Insurgencies have re-emerged in the world’s political consciousness in the Nigerian. State at present, there is a rising insurgency attributed to any factors, which has given rise to militants or rebel groups. Insurgencies, by their nature, are complex, dynamic and adaptive. They can rapidly shift, splits, combine or organise. The twenty-first Century is typified by a volatile International environment, persistent conflicts, and increasing state fragility. Long standing external and internal tensions tend to exacerbate or create core grievances within some states resulting in Insurgency or political strife. Insurgency remains a threat to the corporate existence of any state. Therefore, all hands must be on desk to end insurgency in the Nigeria State particularly and the World in general.
